A lovely, functional and comfortable vacation home, built only a few years ago, Cas’Allegra is located in Orta-Legro, a small outlying hamlet at about 1,5 Km away from the main town of Orta San Giulio, a lake resort indicated on the tourist guides as one of the 85 Italian towns member of the “Association of Painted Villages”. On the walls of the buildings one can admire the most significant photograms signed by Italian and foreign artists showing the numerous films set along the shores of the Lake of Orta, within a very special open air “Museum of the Cinema”.
The house is situated at about 150 m. from the original main square, where the local granite stone and the beautiful iron works blend perfectly in with the ancient lavatory and the little church dating back to the ‘700, built on a lovely and quiet space exposed to the sun all day long. Surrounded as it is by several private homes and parks and gardens the area is ideal for peaceful and relaxing walks amongst the greenery.
The easy access to transportation facilities and the tranquillity of a place far from the congested city trafic makes this a lovely corner of paradise with all the comforts we are accustomed to.
The property is accessible through a pedestrian gate and an automatic driveway leading to a 75 sq.m. totally paved private courtyard with the main entrance to the house; open air parking spaces for 3 cars and a 1-car private garage. Cas’Allegra is luminous, sunny and quiet, the furniture is new, carefully maintained and comfortable, all of which make for a warm and hospitable environment.
Within easy reach are: a medical ambulatory, a pediatrician’s, a food market, a tobacconist, a newspaper stand, a pub, a snack bar, a playground, the railway station, the bus and taxi stop.

Cas’Allegra measures about 110 sq.m. subdivided between the ground and the first floors; on the exterior the wooden beams of the mansard style roof and the stone facing columns give the house a very refined look.

Ground Floor (dining room / living room / kitchen / bathroom/ garage / patio / garden / backyard) The ground floor features an entrance, a large living room with fireplace and 2 big sofas (one of which is a double bed) satellite color TV, comfortable dining room and lovely open kitchen with quality equipment (5 burner stove, oven, American and Italian style coffee machines, toaster, refrigerator with small freezer, dishwasher) separate from the dining area by a pretty colour glass wall; service bathroom with washing machine and house cleaning equipment (vacuum cleaner, etc.) main bathroom with WC/SHOWER STALL and hair dryer.
From the living /dining room exit onto a 25 sq. m. tiled covered terrace equipped with large dining table for pleasant meals in the open and to the exclusive 200 sq. m. garden surrounded by a hedge and featuring barbecue and deck chairs. The area offers lots of opportunities for pleasant and relaxing walks.
For lovers of “vacations along the lake” several free or fully equipped private beaches are available in Orta, Gozzano, Pettenasco, Pella and many other more or less known locations, a discrete refuge away from the crowded cities.
Many organised one-day tours by car or train are available from Legro. Lively Summer entertainment programs are also organised by the local tourist-board (musical evenings, games, gastronomic fairs, open-air cinema, etc.)
